On July 18 our Los Angeles showroom in Culver City was honored to host the one year anniversary celebration of the Culver City Green Business Association (CCGBA).

This was a chance for local business and community leaders to come together in our beautiful showroom to meet other Culver City business owners and learn how green is good for business and good for the planet. Culver City Mayor Scott Malsin provided the opening welcome, and CCGBA co-chairs Greg Reitz (REthink Development Corp) and Ellen Strickland (Livingreen) provided an introduction to CCGBA and its membership.

The keynote speaker was Wally Marks, owner of the Helms Bakery District (where we are located). Wally's remarks focused on "Why 'green' business is good business" and he gave an overview of the amazing rennovation that he has overseen of the Helms Bakery and how green practices and technologies were incorporated into every facet of the project.

The event was catered by Green Truck. Organic wine was donated for this event from Mountain Peoples Wine & Beer Distributors and Casa Barranca Certified Organic Winery and Vineyard.
