LA Showroom opens in grand fashion

On March 8 & 9 we held the Grand Opening of newest showroom in LA and by all accounts it was a huge success. The weekend was kicked-off with an open house featuring new pieces, design previews, book signings with Tom Moser, and chair-making demonstrations by a master craftsman. Over 300 customers and friends came by on Saturday night to raise a glass with us, and on Sunday we concluded the festivities with a talk called “A Celebration of Craft” with iconic furniture designers/builders Tom Moserand Sam Maloof, master craftsman Jim Ipekjian, and Cerritos College woodworking professor Anthony Fortner. We were humbled (and a bit overwhelmed at first!) when over 700 people RSVP'd for the Sunday presentations.

The LA showroom is the largest one we’ve opened so far (4,000 square feet), and we used the space to create whole ‘rooms within rooms’ to make it easier for customers to envision living with our designs in their own homes. And through mid-summer we're featuring a whole host of Maine artists throughout the space.
