Thanks to all who attended last night's Maine Art & Design Dinner at Primo in Rockland (Maine).
We were thrilled to partner with Down East Magazine to bring together a distinguished panel of artists and designers and enjoy a fine dinner from acclaimed chefs Melissa Kelly and Price Kushner.
Our lineup of presenters included:
From L to R:
Bill Laurita, woven products designer of Swans Island Blankets
Jim Kinnealey, co-owner of Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland
Cynthia Hyde, co-owner of Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland
Eric Hopkins, Rockland-based artist
Eric Allyn, architectural designer from Rockland
David Moser, principal furniture designer for Thos. Moser.
Eric Hopkins kindly offered up his beautiful gallery prior to the dinner for a cocktail party that was well received. Many thanks to Bettina Doulton of Cellardoor Vineyard for providing the wonderful wine and Melody Wolfertz of In Good Company for the catering at the reception.

Here are a few photos from the dinner at Primo...

Pictured below are the gracious hosts for the evening's festivities (l to r), John Viehman, publisher of Down East magazine; Colleen McCracken, CEO of Thos. Moser; Melissa Kelly, Primo co-owner and Executive Chef (holding an advance copy of her upcoming book collaboration with Down East, called "Cooking Down East; Favorite Maine Recipes", which is due out in October); Price Kushner, Primo co-owner and Bakery/Pastry Chef.

We think it will be hard to top last night's dinner, lively guests and wonderful presenters, but we will try when host our next Art & Design Dinner event at Havana in Bar Harbor on August 17th...we hope you will join us! (Please call our Freeport showroom for more information).
